Ram realizes that Venkat’s ghost have been haunting him and thus she’s now calling Ram’s life his own, wanting him to follow in her footsteps.
So, he does. Ram is a changed man, full of courage and a true warrior. He takes his new bride home and begins a new life in their new home, Kerala in India. Ram is not contented with this life, however. He wants more and wants to be with more, and so he heads for the West. However, following his journey, he’s captured by pirates, and they sell him to the slave trader’s son Vembanad.
Vembanad soon finds out that Ram is Ram Sita’s son, so he sells him off into slavery once again. There Ram is made to serve for a very long time as a cook and a porter in a large ship. Finally, when his master dies, Vembanad sells Ram to the sea merchant Gajiva, who is also looking for a new boy. Gajiva agrees to pay Ram a large sum of money so that he can find a good wife for him.
