Lyrics – City Slums
Run and tell your mummy
The streets go ra pa pum pum
Ra pa pum pum , Ra pa pum pum
It’s coming from the Gully
It’s coming from the city slum slums
City slum slums
City slum slums
(DIVINE)
Sadak zabaani, chai mein paani, haath mein kaarigaari
Naka ab khaali, bhaari thaali, sar pe zimmedaari
Ek hi toh maalik baaki kuch din waale karamchaari
Kaayeka beef, tu is rap khel mein shakahaari
Bahut jaali
Yeh rapper famous hue deke gaali – lambi gaadi
Asliyat mein inki jebein khaali – kalakaari
Maas lega humse brahmachaari – kar savaari
Apni wohi gully, wohi chaali
Kitni naari, kitni chaabi, note tere kitni saari,
Nahi aane wale kaam tere maiyat pe – swayam se
Jhoot na tu bol payega
Apne aad fassa kharcha phokat mein tu khayega
Run and tell your mummy
The streets go ra pa pum pum
Ra pa pum pum , Ra pa pum pum
It’s coming from the Gully
It’s coming from the city slum slums
City slum slums
City slum slums
(Raja Kumari)
Raja Kumari
I go harder than anybody
Daughter of the King
American Dream
Phir bhi dil mein Hindustani
So don’t misunderstand me
I do it for the people
Yes I do it for my family, mainly
I’m gonna get it, I’m with it
I make it run run
I’m gonna get it
I’m in it, until it’s done done
They tried to stop me
Don’t make the same mistake
They tried to copy
But they can’t take my place
Cuz oh God!
All eyes on the underdog
Go hard
No time for you none at all
Whole squad
Four tires on the Boulevard
Running through the streets at dark
Flowing like the Ganga (Gangotri!)
Run and tell your mummy
The streets go ra pa pum pum
Ra pa pum pum , Ra pa pum pum
It’s coming from the Gully
It’s coming from the city slum slums
City slum slums
City slum slums
Ja ke pooch-Ja ke pooch Apne baare mein
Gully Gang is the sound of the slums
From LA to Bombay
Know we coming, know we coming
Know we coming up!
Run and tell your mummy
The streets go ra pa pum pum
Ra pa pum pum , Ra pa pum pum
It’s coming from the Gully
It’s coming from the city slum slums
City slum slums
City slum slums
Raja Kumari!
Hindustan mein kya!
Tera bhai-Tera bhai!
59!
Gully Gang boy!

City Slums: Making a Cityscape With Radio Ringtones
City Slums are the neglected and poor neighborhoods of a city. Due to their plight, the government has set aside funds in the form of the PSP game City Slums if people would donate enough money so that they can have better living conditions. There are many people who live in these slums. They are the ones who get the most benefit from this program as they can earn money by downloading free ringtones. The more popular the ringtone becomes, the more downloads the developer will get which means that the quality of the ringtone will improve.

The story behind the PSP game City Slums revolves around three different kinds of people who got laid off from their jobs. One is a drug addict named Leila who lives with her mother in the slums. Her mother runs a food stand and the rest of the family live in shacks made out of cardboard boxes. There is also Henry who works at a recycling center and his mother is his primary source of income. All of them live in these conditions just so they can send and receive their monthly salary.
When they don’t receive their salary, most of them succumb to crime in order to get what is due to them. This causes their homes to be destroyed and some even drown in the bathtub. The last one is Mario who barely has enough money to eat. He therefore decides that he needs to make a better life for himself and his loved ones. That’s where the story of City Slums begins.

Mario starts out working at a recycling center as an operator and it is here where he realizes that there is so much more that life can offer. He wants to help his mother and his fellow workers but he just doesn’t have the skills to do so. So one day, he gets a call from a man who wants him to get a ringtone for his phone. It was supposed to be free but since he didn’t have any credit in his name, the company would not grant him permission.
To compensate for this, they would give him a small amount. In return, he would get to listen to a city siren and get to work. The catch is that he would have to report to work every day and go home later on. Needless to say, his salary was very low. To make matters worse, he was fired the next day and didn’t have much options left.
Eventually he decided to get a job at a construction site but that wasn’t good either. His boss was very abusive and he was threatened by some of his workers. He didn’t have much hope in finding a job in that field. To make matters worse, his mother ended up getting a job at a restaurant and then he didn’t get along with her. This was his third encounter with City Slums and like the others before him, he was forced to leave the poor condition of his life.
